From 11 March 2023, you'll no longer need to take a pre-departure COVID-19 test when returning to Australia from China, Hong Kong or Macau.

Anyone travelling to Australia from China, including Hong Kong and Macau, will be required to undertake COVID-19 testing within 48 hours before travelling to Australia.
