How do I change my trip details?
First, sign in to your Smartraveller account. You will be taken to the 'My account' screen.
For changes to a traveller’s details
Create or update travellers
- In the Name column, click the name of the traveller you wish to update
- Amend the details on the ‘Update traveller information’ screen
For changes to an emergency contact’s details
Create or update emergency contacts
- In the Name column, click the name of the emergency contact you wish to update
- Amend the details on the ‘Update emergency contact’ screen
For other changes
If you need to make other changes to your trip, such as updating destinations or dates, updating who will be travelling, or changing emergency contacts for travellers, please follow the steps below.
Create or update trips
- In the Trip name column, click the name of the trip you wish to change.
- Using the tabs (Trip name, Travellers, Destinations, Review and submit), navigate to the section you wish to change and amend the details, remembering to click
Save and next on each screen.
- When you have finished your changes, navigate to the Review and submit tab and check that all details are now correct.
- Some changes require you to resubmit your trip registration. A message at the top of the screen will tell you if you need to resubmit your trip by clicking the
Submit trip registration button. If this button appears, you must click it to finalise the changes.
You will not receive a confirmation email when you update an existing trip.
